Swami Chinmayananda (1916 - 1993)

Swami Chinmayanada is probably one of the most well known saints of he modern era worldwide. One of the greatest orators, he could move people as if by magic with his keen intellect and piercing logic.  His outstanding writings and speeches on the Bhagavad Gita have caused untold benefits to mankind in general and Hindus in specific.  His basic concept was - I want to convert Hindus to Hinduism.  He has helped foster plenty of Balavihars all over the world which do just that - educating Hindu children worldwide that may7 have lost touch with their heritage become strong Hindus again.
