Shirdi Sai Baba

Shirdi Sai Baba is one of India's most beloved saints.   He was a "uniter" at a time when there was plenty of conflict between hindus and muslims over the supremacy of their gods.  Both of them considered him divine.  He considered this as a way to bless people.  He was an extremely simple "fakir", who lived on alms collected from people.  His samadhi site at Shirdi is said to possess amazing powers of healing in the spiritual and even physical realm.
