What is this website about?

Every human associates himself with an identity.  This identity may differ based on function carried out, such as being a mother or a student, may differ based on gender, based on form (Tall, short, etc) and finally based on belief.  The purpose of this website is to educate those of us who have a "belief" in god, consider themselves as "Hindu", are moderate in their temperament and most importantly  would like a better understanding of their own "belief" in order to move to "faith".  While this conversion can happen at  multiple levels, I would consider myself the most blessed soul on earth if even one of the readers is beniffitted in the slightest as a result of creating this website.  It would however not surprise me one bit - this much "faith" I certainly do possess in the power of the mahaans (Great ones) who's names are taken in this website.
